Cooling Plant Retrofit Project

In a high traffic and densely populated high-rise multi residential area of downtown Toronto, Complete Energy Solutions (CES) was hired to manage every stage of this significant cooling plant retrofit project.

CES was engaged to thoroughly review the plans and specifications, ensuring the comprehensive scope of the work was completed on time, on budget and without incident. CES delivered the project successfully to the client with full-closeout documents which included, as built drawings, equipment shop drawings, operations and maintenance manuals and site reports. Notwithstanding a crane strike and even working in –36 degree temperatures, these obstacles couldn’t stop this project from being delivered successfully to our client.

Complete Energy Solutions inhouse energy management experts managed to obtain a substantial incentive and ultimately helped to reduce the monthly energy and overall maintenance costs.

Circumvented challenges

Downtown core entertainment industry, a high traffic and pedestrian district = overnight crane lift.
Crane Lift Strike = non-issue – project completed in less than 2 days.
Off peak hours = no impact or impedance on the neighbourhood
